The Grand Opening on April 14, 2016, for the new buildings at Mescal's Children's Center of Hope, in Luanda, Kenya, was a grand celebration indeed! About 300 people from the community attended, along with a team from the USA. Mescal's Kids sang, along with many other groups; Brandon Dasinger, Missions Pastor at Frazer UMC in Montgomery, Alabama, gave an inspiring message; there was a presentation of a portrait of Mescal K. Griffin, MCCH's namesake; and much thanks and glory was given to God for providing the beautiful new buildings for the children.
